USA Cricket Announces Level 1 Coaching and Umpiring Workshops

USA Cricket is pleased to announce two upcoming opportunities for cricket enthusiasts to develop their skills and knowledge through the Level 1 Classroom Component Coaching and Umpiring Workshops. These workshops are designed to provide essential training for those interested in advancing their involvement in cricket as coaches or umpires.

Coaching Workshop (Level 1 Classroom Component):

Overview: This workshop focuses on the basics of cricket coaching, including essential skills, techniques, and strategies to help participants build a strong understanding for coaching at various levels.

Details:

Venue Cities: Dallas, Atlanta, LA, Missouri
Dates: October 27th – November 24th 2024
Pre-requisite: Completion of the ICC-Level 1 (Ed-App-based coaching course module) is required. You can access the course here: https://www.edapp.com/icc/
Fees: $75. Course fees will cover the cost of study material + certification + lunch and refreshments during the course.

Spaces are limited, so early registration is recommended. Registration will close at 11:59 pm Midnight PST on Friday, 25th October 2024. 

Umpiring Workshop (Level 1 Classroom Component):

Overview: This workshop is aimed at introducing participants to the basics of cricket umpiring. The session covers key laws of the game, match management, and decision-making processes.

Dates: October 26th – December 15th 2024
Pre-requisite: Completion of the ICC-Level 1 (Ed-App-based umpiring course module) is required. You can access the course here: https://www.edapp.com/icc/
Fees: $75. Course fees will cover the cost of study material + certification + lunch and refreshments during the course.

Spaces are limited, so early registration is recommended. Registration will close at 11:59 pm Midnight PST on Thursday, 24th October 2024. 

These workshops provide participants the opportunity to start their journey in cricket coaching and umpiring with the support of USA Cricket. Participants will leave with a thorough understanding of the basics of coaching and umpiring, preparing them to take the next step in their cricket careers.
