England finishes on 364/9

Dawid Malan’s outstanding knock of 140, coupled with half-centuries from Jonny Bairstow (55) and Joe Root (82), propelled England to a formidable total of 364/9 against Bangladesh.

Malan exhibited his prowess with 16 fours and five maximums during his 107-ball knock.

The dynamic duo of Malan and Jonny Bairstow (52 off 59) established a solid opening partnership, accumulating 115 runs. England appeared to be on track for a total near the 400-run mark. However, Bangladesh showcased their resilience and made a comeback by taking eight wickets in the last 13 overs.

Mahedi Hasan was the pick of the bowlers for Bangladesh, finishing with figures of 8-0-71-4.
