USA Cricket has announced a series of governance updates following its April 5, 2025, Board of Directors meeting, reinforcing the organization’s continued commitment to transparency and operational integrity. These steps include the reinstatement of former Board Directors, Mr. Kuljit Singh Nijjar and Mr. Arjun Gona, based on their status as member-elected directors, along with additional governance amendments.
The Board voted unanimously to reinstate both directors following their removal in December 2024. Additionally, the Board approved:
Implementation of Best Practices, including:
Appointment of an independent observer for Board meetings;
Mandatory training for all Board members
USA Cricket Board Chair Venu Pisike commented on the developments:

These updates ensure USA Cricket is well-positioned to meet the demands of a growing sport and support the communities, athletes, and partners driving cricket forward across the United States.”
